Robot Dreams is a 2023 Spanish-French animated film written and directed by Pablo Berger. The film is based on Sara Varon's 2007 comic of the same name. The film is about the inseparable friendship between a dog and a robot in Manhattan, New York in 1984. It is a silent film, which means that there is no dialogue in the film. A dog living in Manhattan in the 80s feels very lonely, so one day he decides to build himself a robot. Their friendship immediately blossoms and they become inseparable friends. One summer night, the dog has to leave his best friend at the beach. Will they ever meet again?
