La chimera

British archaeologist Arthur, released from prison, returns to his lost lover Beniamina's hometown in Tuscany, where he is met by grave robbers who are looting old Etruscan tombs and selling historical artifacts on the black market. Arthur's special talent helps the party find ancient burial sites that are the link between the worlds of the living and the dead. Can Arthur also find Beniamina? 2023. In the fairy tale, which participated in the competition program of the Cannes Film Festival in 2015, a melancholic story of lost love, a physical comedy and a philosophical discussion about life and death, present and past, the flow of time and the traces of history are intertwined.
