Also about ownership, togetherness and betrayal. Miriam's Christmas Elf (2003) Director: Mait Laas The elf is small and hard to spot... the gifts are big and heavy... But still the elf brings presents despite all kinds of difficulties... Helpful Miriam decides to help the Elf so that it will be easier for the little man to bring presents... But that night... A Gift from Orbit (2021) Director: Leeni Linna A short film about the little boy Otto, whose parents' last promise was not fulfilled - to give his son a dog for his tenth birthday. On the night of an important birthday, Otto notices a star falling in the sky and sends his heart's desire on its way. To the boy's surprise, the glowing object instead falls into the forest behind the house. A startled boy discovers the Sputnik 2 space rocket in a clearing, and a friendly mixed-breed dog with Laika written on its collar jumps out of its smoking capsule. Gift Wheel (1991) Director: Aarne Ahi The greedy fox grabs the gifts from Santa's rail, but the Elf and the two toys brought to life by him deliver the gifts to the children. The fox is forgiven for his temper and Christmas peace is restored. The Lost Socks (2023) Director: Oskar Lehemaa Practical 6-year-old Pille finds the socks under his parents' bed, but discovers that the socks have meanwhile laid a small furry egg! Now Pille has to protect the nest of socks under the bed so that robot vacuum cleaner Robotto, the family cat Peekon and Isa, longing for his socks, do not interfere with the hatching of the cute sock egg.
