Based on a true story, The Silent Brotherhood stars Jude Law, Nicholas Hoult and Tye Sheridan. In 1983, increasingly violent bank robberies, counterfeiting operations, and armored car thefts terrorized the residents of the Pacific Northwest. While confused law enforcement agencies try to find answers, a lone FBI agent (Jude Law) in a sleepy town in Idaho comes to believe that the crimes are not from traditional, financially motivated criminals, but from radical terrorists. Led by the charismatic Bob Mathews (Nicholas Hoult), this motivated group of terrorists, the Order, plans an all-out war against the United States federal government.
