Maybe this time you'll find an opportunity to hold someone's hand at the same time. Late-night anime cocktail Indie animations always offer an exciting mix, where the familiar and the unpredictable intertwine. Our AniCoctail movies are proof of that. The problems of the Balkans are seen through the eyes of a child, flies are in long flight, Ian McKellan voices a transvestite. The heroes are faced with difficulties, the passage of time, their own identity, sexuality and relationships, but the natural environment is also attractively and faithfully depicted in these films. And the music used is also significant. HÕFF@Shorts Every year in April, the biggest genre film festival in the Baltic States takes place in a lovely seaside town – the Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival. PÖFF Shorts offers the audience the opportunity to see a selection of the best horror shorts screened at HÕFF, which offer both scares and thrills in equal measure. HÕFF belongs to the Méliès Federation of International Festivals, which is dedicated to valuing and supporting European genre films. The best feature-length fantasy film and short film in Europe is awarded annually with the Méliès d'or award.
