Blade Runner

Blade Runner

Run Time

01:57
"I have seen things that you people would not believe. Burning attack ships on Orion's side. I saw the C-beam glittering in the dark at the Tannhäuser Gate. All these moments disappear into eternity, like tears in the rain." If artificial intelligence can paint such beautiful pictures with words, the future can be quite bright. What if those words come from the mouth of a murderous acrobat muscle mountain. "Blade Runner" begins like a typical detective-noir: Deckard (Harrison Ford) is forced by the police chief to return from prison - there has been a crime that only he can solve. But what makes things interesting is his task: to destroy four replicants who escaped from the colonies and have returned to Earth. This is a film about what it means to be human. Is it the privilege of the chosen ones, or can the concept of the human soul evolve over time with technology? Blade Runner is possibly one of the best sci-fi films ever made, using a fantastical future world to expand our understanding of ourselves, accompanied by the great techno sax of Vangelis. The cult neo-noir based on Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" will be screened in its full glory on the Friendship screen - The Final Cut film version released in 2007 will be screened in gorgeous 4K resolution. And for those who don't know yet, the world of "Blade Runner" is a prelude to one of Scott's other sci-fi worlds, "Alien".
