Indrek Spungin's documentary "A Woman Who Take Little Space" is a portrait film of Liina Siib, an Estonian artist and art teacher, whose work focuses on social and cultural issues.
Liina Siib is a visual artist and filmmaker who uses a photo, video, installation and graphics in her creation. His works deal with the role of a woman in society, aesthetics of everyday life and historical narratives. SIB has represented Estonia at the Venice Biennale of 2011 and has been exhibited in many international galleries and museums.
Indrek Spungin's documentary opens the viewer Liina Siib's backstage of the creative world and artistic work, providing an in -depth glimpse of her creative process. The film provides an opportunity to understand how Siib's work relates to a broader social context and what its role in contemporary Estonian art plays.
