Special screening of short films by Kinomaja Film School
This year, the young filmmakers of the Kinomaja Film School have completed eight short films that explore the sound of the human heart, the journey of self-discovery, the world of a child in both the summer sun and the evil of war, and the possibility of other realities. The young students were divided into two groups - beginners and advanced - and for several participants this was their first filmmaking experience.
The Film School considers it important to develop the skill of storytelling and helps young people make their inner stories visible. In a safe and supportive environment, young people can experiment, discuss ideas, make mistakes and learn from them, as well as acquire new knowledge and experience in various roles in the film industry. Meetings with film professionals offer young people valuable feedback and inspiration.
Kinomaja Filmikool's films have also attracted attention at festivals - most recently the jury of the PÖFF youth festival JustFilm recognized the film "Laps" with a special prize.
By buying a ticket to the screening, you support the Kinomaja Film School and young filmmakers, so that next year too, new stories will reach the screen.
